DACA Postcards
Let me begin by saying that the repeal in DACA is just the most ignorant choice that could of been done. I had a feeling this was going to happen as soon as we got the orange clown into office. Removing DACA is an unethical decision, there are kids who will probably be sent to a place they have never visited, all they know is there home here in the USA. Even though i am not a DACA recipient i still stand strong with the movement and encourage it. Especially with my Hispanic people, but not just with just them, but other DACA students from different backgrounds as well. DACA is not just for "Mexicans" as most racists who follow the orange clown would try to justify, middle finger to them. Also because on top of that because i just want to oppose the orange clown in any way possible. It's his fault we have all these high racial tensions in America and have nuclear bomb threats coming from a hermit kingdom. Honestly i have never felt racial tensions like this before in my life, during the Obama era i did not even feel like this, but now it feels like i am being targeted because of my heritage in a away. Especially coming to university where most of the students are white i can sometimes feel the tension in some of my classrooms today and in my past semesters. It is just an awkward a phase to be in honestly. At the same time its not like its every white persons fault, there are some people out their with common sense in their head and help strive for ethical solutions. Growing up in the south side of Chicago, in Little Village it really helped me grow my heritage. Little Village is literally like a little mexico here in Chicago and i love it. In other words, rather than making this post into a conspiracy theory post i wanted to share this moment with. My writing professor had told us about an event that would be going on in the library, it was a post card signing to show your support for DACA. Of course, more than happily i went out to show my support. The post cards in a short sum write out your concern for the DACA repeal, and you choose which representative you want to intend it for. I feel glad i went out and did this, i feel like i am doing the right thing.

Tillman story Documentary Reaction
After watching The Tillman Story, a documentary about a multimillion dollar NFL player who replaced a football in his hands for an assault rifle. Pat Tillman was then recognized by America as an american hero after passing away while in duty. His death was a mysterious, it had only led to more questions. One scene that really got to me was when his youngest brother Richard Tillman, got behind the podium to speak in front of dozens of people and to only say what one might call negative. When he had said “ He’s fucken dead, he’s not with god” it shocked me to hear that, i’m sure people who were at the service were as well. He did start off by calling him a champion, but pulled the plug when he said that. It bothered me a little because first of all it was a funeral service, second it was about his very own brother, lastly i have three younger siblings and i would never say anything like that about them in a situation like that. The on the flipside in a future interview he defended his statement by saying he was miserable at the time. Either Way i did not see what he did as acceptable.
One thing that surprised me in the documentary was when Russell Baer had quoted Pat. Along with his brother Kevin all three had been assigned to the same mission, which was to rescue Jessica lynch. As they waited for the go ahead on the mission they saw the city be bombarded with bombs. During the interview Richard had said “ that was the first time i have heard Pat in kind of like no kidding opinion on what was going on there, he just said ‘this war is so fucking illegal’”. It was earlier noted in the documentary that the army was not what Pat had expected. On top of that another part the really surprised me was when it was explained that Jessica was not the person the media had portrayed. The media had said that she was getting tortured and had fired up all of her rounds at the enemy before being taken hostage. As it turns out none of that was true. The following fact which made it even more strange was that there was a delay on the mission because the military wanted to bring in a combat camera crew to document everything. Hence why Pat, Russell, and Kevin were waiting for them to go rescue her.
A lot of thoughts came and stayed into my head after watching the documentary. One question that i still have after watching the film was why did the military blatantly lie in the investigation, when they interviewed Bryan O’Neal and he looked over the investigation footage it was obviously edited to serve the military’s purpose. O’neal had recalled seeing the other friendly force convoy stopping at least two times so that the convoy can fire at them, then in the video it shows none of that. Another question i got from this was why did Richard not fire back at the convoy? He even admitted to taking his rifle off of safety and ready to fire still knowing that those were friendly forces. I feel that if he were to take a couple of shots there probably would of a chance of Pat not getting killed. On top of that how did the convoy not see Pat's squad? If the other squad was able to see them enough to fire at them and Pat’s squad was able to see them too, how could there be a confusion on who was who or not having a visual on their own forces. Even after pat had thrown a smoke grenade which seized the fire for a bit, the other squad was still determined to keep firing at Pat and his squad, it all seems a bit suspicious. It all in a way leads to thinking that there was a motive to shooting at Pat’s squad and probably knowing that they were friendlies was part of the motive. It also leads to a bigger question, how trustworthy is Uncle Sam then? If the military went to such extend to cover up Tillman's story imagine how far they went with other stories we thought to be true.
One thing i definitely want to research is what is the punishment in the military for friendly fire. Another thing would be how often does Uncle Sam lie to us about what is really going on? I also want to do some research on what is the consequence for high officials like the generals lying in situations like Tillman’s. Another topic would be how often does friendly fire happen the military. Lastly, how many other stories are out there of families having suspicion on how their loved ones were K.I.A. .

New IT movie
It, it is probably the most talked about horror movie at this point of the year. I still have not seen the new one, but i have seen the first one from the 90's. I am really looking forward to watching the movie, i really enjoyed the original one. I hope it meets my expectations of a horror movie, and since remakes usually do not have the best reputations i do not expect much. Despite having a co worker tell me it was not good, i still want to watch it! I just need to find someone to come watch it with me, sadly my girlfriend does not like horror movies (one of our many differences). I know it wont hold true to the original movie, but i hope it holds on to the main concepts of the main movie. For example, I know in the original movie IT is an alien. yes, IT is a alien clown from outer space. Then to be honest the first movie kind of bothered me a bit. The scene when the little boy gets taken by IT kind of hit home for me because i could not imagine the fear and pain i would feel if i lost a little brother. Right away that scene brought my three year old baby brother to mind and i just can not imagine losing him, since me and him are very close. one of my initial thought s from watching the trailer was that the scenes do not really capture the creepiness of IT. To some he might seem like the creepiest thing they have ever seen, but i really like to get scared in horror movies, and unfortunately the trailer did not really creep me out. Despite some of the cons i really look forward to watching the movie sometime in the future, hopefully i can get a good scare out of it.

Iphone 8? or nah
Being a Samsung user for a while i feel like it is time to "upgrade" my phone. I currently use a Samsung Galaxy s5, I have had it for quite a while! I'm not a huge fan of Iphone mainly because of how restricted apple is with their software in their phones and because of how delicate they are. I mean you see more cracked Iphones on people than galaxies and other androids. But since i have been getting pressure from my girlfriend to get an Iphone and from myself because i know i need a new phone now, i am leaning more towards getting the new upcoming Iphone 8. It is suppose to release on Sep,22 2017 and that is just around the corner! what i am really liking about it is the full screen display on the phone and of course the new HD camera. But one thing that does bother me and i am sure it does for others is the price! it is estimated to cost upwards of 1K! but then again it is an Iphone so what do you expect. so right now i am really juggling on my decision on whether to keep my old phone or finally get a new one. I mean who knows it might be the best phone ever, that is until another new iphone comes out.
